Ladder of Rot
About This Game:
Ladder of Rot is a short horror game where you, a deeply dissatisfied wage slave, break into an abandoned facility from a past age to use its supercomputer for massive financial gain. Unfortunately the failed creations left there STRONGLY dislike intruders and wish to eliminate you. Juggle the risk of leaving yourself vulnerable with the potential to become rich in order to not only survive, but thrive.
Minor Info:
-for the tasks to do themselfs you need to stay on the tasks tab
-distract button in tools tab makes the monsters go to that spot if they hear it
- you can close the door between rooms by clicking on the connection in tools tab
-you can do more than 1 task at a time
Controls:
"Left click" to interact with objects.
"Mouse movement" to look sideways.
Sneak peek because of the situation with our artist (see more down):
-The enemy that shows up at your left cant be scanned so you have to listen for him
-The green version of "Enemy png" is the one that cant be atracted to another room so if hes in your office youre done but you spawn him with a task so just keep track of who is where
-The normal one at your right can break your door and is the only enemy at the start

EXTRA INFO-------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to our artist having a medical emergency he was not able to finish the 3D models of the enemies in time. Hope you'll like our improvised replacement and maybe give us a little leeway in this regard (pretty please).

Atmosphere is there. its eerie and disturbing, really good job on that! i think game needs some kind of money dump otherwise money is just sitting there for no reason. i wish a fast recovery fort the Artist tho...
There was a thing for money in the original idea but no time so just a leaderboard
Great atmosphere! Excellent use of sound and UI design to create an unnerving vibe
